I am a PhD student and the title of my project is "Large Scale Image Classification". Given a label, the aim is to rank most relevant images from datasets containing millions of images which belong to thousands of classes.
After completing my MSc in Media Informatics program of RWTH Aachen University in December 2010, I joined the LEAR team in January 2011. My PhD is a collaboration between INRIA Rhone-Alpes and Xerox Research Centre Europe (XRCE) . It is funded by the CIFRE grant of The French National Research and Technology Association (ANRT) .
