I am an engineer working part-time at the LEAR group. My main web page, including my work schedule, is here. Within LEAR:

I am working on the LIV development project.
I work in the French ANR project Quaero to compute image and video signatures and cluster images.
I work on content-based image and video retrieval (with a focus on large volumes) with Hervé Jégou
With Guillaume Fortier, I administrate the group's Linux machines and help my colleages with the various technical problems they encounter.

In the past:

I maintain and improve the group's internal image processing library (Lava), formerly developed by Gyuri Dorkó
I maintain and improve an image database demonstrator made by Michaël Sdika
From time to time, I convert code written in Matlab by other people here into C (to solve performance and licensing problems). I also advocate the use of Octave when possible.
I made an photo collection manager, YORG, that includes several image analysis routines.
I am working on a texture classifier for the European project AceMedia.
I study the circle detector made by Frédéric Jurie in the context of classification.
I participated in various contests: ICCV 05 image-based localization contest, Pascal VOC 2006 with Navneet Dalal, ImageEVAL with Julien Bohné, Trecvid 2008 and Trecvid 2010 with Hervé Jégou, ImageCLEF 2009 with Jakob Verbeek and Matthieu Guillaumin.
