My PhD project is a collabration between the LEAR team of INRIA Grenoble Rhone-Alpes and GREYC team of Universite de Caen, Basse-Normandie. It is funded by R2I project of French National Research Agency.
During my PhD I developed representations for image re-ranking and classification that are compact, fast to construct and work well with linear classifiers that are fast in learning and application phase and have limited memory requirements.
I defended my PhD on 11th July 2011. and moved to INRIA Rennes Bretagne Atlantique, TEXMEX group, to work with Herve Jegou.
